Özlem Yasar (b. 1981, Sason) completed her primary and secondary education in Sason, and began taking part in theatre groups, where she wrote and directed scripts for plays. She has also acted in the film ‘Dema Jin Hezbike’ by Halil Dağ and has directed ‘Berfîn’ (2017). She is known for ‘Kobane’ and ‘Canlarin dört Kapisi’ (2003)
