Bromelia, in her 40s and still single, falls in love with Pedro, the fabric salesman who comes to the bridal shop that has been the family business since she was a child. The time has come for her to finally make her own wedding outfit. But Pedro does not prove to be the life partner she longed for, and the news about her pregnancy with a Down-syndrome child derails her dreams of becoming a happily married woman.

Efterpi Charalambidis, obtained her Master’s in Film in 2002, from Columbia University, New York. She filmed her short ‘Niko’s Restaurant’. Her debut feature film, ‘Libertador Morales, El Justiciero’ was the Venezuelan official entry for the Academy Awards in 2010. She directed several documentaries, short films and TV movies.
