An animation feature film following the dramatic journey of two siblings, Kyona and her brother Adriel, who are running away, because they are being pursued by an unspecified Eastern European country.
Florence Miailhe (b. 1956, Paris) is a painter and filmmaker based in Paris. She has conceived and directed several short animation films. ‘Hammam’ (1992), ‘Shéhérazade’ (1995) among several others. Over the course of her three-decade career in animation, Florence Miailhe has created a small but precious body of award-winning films. Her artistry shows through trademark techniques of using pastels or hand-painting each frame. Her richly picturesque films often explore subjects such as femininity, the human body, and desire.
