3 दिसंबर 1889 को बंगाल क मेदिनीपुर जिले में एक बच्चे का जन्म होता है, जिसे कम उम्र में मरने से बचाने के लिए एक स्थानीय रीति रिवाज के तहत उसकी बड़ी बहन को तीन मुट्ठी अनाज जिसे स्थानीय भाषा में खुद कहा जाता है, के एवज में बेच दिया जाता है। इस वजह से उसका नाम खुदीराम बोस रख दिया जाता है। यह फिल्म खुदीराम पर बनी एक अखिल भारतीय जीवनी है, जो भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के सबसे प्रतिष्ठित युवक थे और जिन्हें 1908 में मुज़फ्फरपुर षड़यंत्र मामले में फांसी की सजा सुनाई गई थी ।

A baby boy born on 3rd December 1889 in Medinipur district, Bengal is symbolically sold to his eldest sister in exchange of three handfuls of grains locally known as Khud as per local customs in an attempt to save him from dying at an early age. He acquires the name, Khudiram. The movie is a pan-India biopic on Khudiram Bose, the young and iconic freedom fighter sentenced to death in 1908 by the British for the Muzaffarpur Conspiracy Case.
