मोहल बासु, एक उत्साही कॉलेज छात्र है, वह लेखक और सामाजिक-राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ता महानंदा भट्टाचार्य पर पीएचडी करना चाहती है। इसके लिए वह लोगों के चेताने के बावजूद खुद महानंदा के पास जाती है और वहां ऐसी घटनाएं होती हैं जो मोहल की सोच को पूरी तरह बदल देती है। यह फिल्म विख्यात लेखक और सामाजिक-राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ता महाश्वेता देवी की जिंदगी और काम पर आधारित है।

Mohal Basu, an enthusiastic college student, wants to pursue her PhD research on the writer and socio-political activist Mahananda Bhattacharya. For that, she goes to Mahananda herself despite warnings from everyone and a series of events occur in their lives which changes Mohal’s thinking completely. The film is based on the life and works of the eminent writer and socio-political activist Mahasweta Devi.
