An old peasant lives in a lost town in the Mexican mountains and his life passes slowly and without jumps. One day he receives news from the capital. He now must face a brutal and unknown world in search of redemption. This project is about redemption, specifically ‘spiritual redemption’ – a redemption that defies death itself.

Carlos Eichelmann Kaiser (b. 1980, Mexico) is a writer, director and producer. He studied film direction and production in Madrid, Spain. He worked as an executive producer for TV series like ‘Killer Women and the Team’ and then he launched his own production house with Wabi Productions in 2011, and made the documentary ‘The Man who Saw too Much, directed by Trisha Ziff.
