A group of Sri Lankan fishermen suddenly find in their trawler a stranger whose intent is to illegally migrate to Australia. Despite initial hesitation, the fishermen befriend this guy called ‘Maalan’. One morning they jointly pull into their trawler, a female sex doll. The doll causes the feelings of these men to run amok and they begin to plot against each other. Maalan is deeply attracted to the sex doll too and one day both Maalan and the doll go missing.

Aruna Jayawardana is a Diploma Holder from the National Film Corporation, Sri Lanka. His debut ‘August Drizzle’ (2011) earned him international accolades and won the Best Film at Vesoul, France and also clinched the NETPAC Award. The movie won awards for the Best Director and Best Screenplay in Sri Lanka.
